It all started around 7 am. Noah had no idea what was going to happen on Christmas morning, which is why we all got to sleep 'til 7. We kept ALL of the presents hidden until Christmas morning because I didn't want to keep telling Noah to get away from the presents. When Noah came down stairs he went straight to the tree. It actually took him a while to understand exactly what was going on. (I think he was still a little bit sleepy...just look at the pictures.) He immediately went to a stuffed Lightning McQueen and started "driving" in around the room. It took him 3 hours to unwrap all his presents because he had to study each thing and then clean up all the wrapping paper and put the toy back in its original packaging. It was a pretty long process, but I can't complain because my living room was trash free when Noah finished opening.
Here is Noah "driving" his plush Lightning McQueen. He was a little frustrated that the wheels didn't turn. :-)
Noah loved his new mittens...so warm... He also thinks that his new dump truck is GREAT! It currently has about 5 wooden cars that it regularly carts around and dumps in places for me to step on.
Noah also got his own CD player and microphones. Look out world; I think he may be the next American Idol.
Perfect end to a perfect day. Noah and Grammie discuss the day's events in the comfort of the rocking chairs on the porch.
