Future Olympian???

Future Olympian...well, not really...first Noah has to learn to crawl I guess.
Yesterday we all went to Centennial Park in downtown Atlanta. The weather was perfect, and it wasn't too crowded.

Noah wasn't too crazy about the fountain. It was a little too much for him. He seemed to like the calmer fountains much better.

Noah in front of the new Coca Cola museum. Doesn't he look handsome in his RedSox cap? (We're starting young.)

There were lots of oversized balls, inflatable goals, and Frisbees to play with in the park. Noah seemed to like the soccer ball best. He and Chris had fun running around the park. I think Noah liked the view better from Chris' shoulders. (They are yelling at the camera in this picture...Aaarh!)

Whew, what a weekend!

Noah has had a very exciting weekend so far. He is currently playing with his Grammie so that I can post the latest pictures from his visit with his (Great) Aunt Laura, (Great) Uncle Wes, Brian, Sarah, and Angel (the dog) Noah had so much fun that he hated to go to bed last night. I think we last heard him chatting at 10:00. Then he woke up periodically through the night to make sure he wasn't missing any of the fun. (I assured him that he wasn't missing anything.) Also, Abby did very well with everybody (including Angel). If you know Abby, you understand why this is worth announcing.

Storytime with Nana

Nana stayed with Noah this past weekend. They must have had a great time because when we got home Noah could jump in his jumper, wanted to read books all the time, and thinks that the garage door opening is the happiest moment of his day. I'm still figuring out other things that he "learned."

Riverdance...

Well Noah has officially figured out how to use his jumper. He is a regular "lord of the dance." If I could figure out how to put video on the site, you would see his fancy footwork. As you can tell, Abby likes to keep an eye on things.

On the Road

Here are some pictures from the trip to Tennessee last weekend. We spent the weekend at Noah's Great Grandmother Allen's house. It was great to see everybody; Noah got lots of visitors! I think he enjoyed being the center of attention.
Noah loves his Great Grandmother!
(I think the feeling is mutual.)

Noah eating lunch in Grandpa's old highchair.

Noah playing with Wesley and Carson.
(Finally, somebody who understands that rolling on the floor is fun.)

Noah and Janet
(He thinks she's pretty cool and so do we.)

Noah and Uncle Stephen. Uncle Stephen has some pretty great "toys." Noah spent about 20 minutes playing with Stephen's watch and cell phone. I'm sure the cell phone battery had to be recharged once Noah was finished playing.

Once all was said and done, all that tired Noah wanted to do was eat his shoes.

Here goes nothing...

Well, after 9 months of resistance, I am finally giving you the online life of Noah (and Abby) that everybody has been asking for. It is time for me to take the giant leap into the 21st century. So...with some reservations, here we go...

Maybe Noah can help me with the site. He already seems to know what he's doing. ...just don't tell him that his keyboard isn't plugged in...

When I told Chris that I would be starting a "blog," he said to remember that you all really just want pictures and not a lot of typing, so I will try to remember that. Today has been pretty typical so far. Noah woke up around 5:45 after sleeping through the night. I never thought that I would actually be excited about 5:45am. He had his usual fruit and oatmeal, gave whatever was on his fingers to Abby, played for a little bit, and went back to bed. I think that he is trying to get rested up for his upcoming busy weekend. His Grammie is coming to visit. He also gets to see his Aunt Laura, Uncle Wes, Brian, Sarah, and Angel (the dog) Whew, what a weekend!
